Grades, Stitches, Birthday, Flights... OY!
I had an 83% in Japanese (JAPN305) before I took the final. That class was so difficult, but she was really generous with the final and, I think because the average grade was between like a 50 and a 70 per cent, she may have curved/weighted it.
I totally guessed on the last CTVA test (as in, literally 100% of my answers were totally random), got a C on another one, didn't turn in one out of the four papers I was supposed to do, only went to one cinematheque screening (we had to go to either five or seven in order to make up for a paper, I can't remember), but I guess I did better than I expected on the other papers, the other tests, and the extraordinarily daunting final. The one paper I got back, he really liked. The comments were straightforward and positive, which wasn't the case for everyone. I got an A on a paper that I thought was horrible (but that took be about 10+ hours, nontheless), and put about the same amount of work, if not more, into the two that followed. Still, I was expecting a C, but...
GRADES:
AAS 201 (RACE CRIT THINK) :: A
ASTR 154LOL (ASTRONOMY LAB) :: A
CTVA 319 (CRITICISM IN CTVA) :: A
FLIT 250 (TRAD CULT OF JAPN) :: A-
HIST 271 (US SINCE 1865) :: A
JAPN 305 (COMMUNIC IN JAPN) :: A
KIN 137A (DANCE BALLRM I) :: Credit
Other than those two surprises, though (oh, and the ballroom one, in which I earned credit, but crap was the an awful final performance!! lol), I worked hard, I think; especially in AAS and HIST. I'm going to miss the History class.
My right, bottom socket hurts every morning. It's getting worse, I think, each morning I wake up. After I take the vicodin & stuff, though, the pain eases a bit.
Tonight I'm seeing the girls, and possibly hanging out with Keith; tomorrow we're doing an impromptu birthday celebration for me. I feel very awkward, but apparently Lisa & Tien & my mom want to do it, so... I picked the restaurant XP haha.
Then, on Tuesday, the final stitches come out, and on Wednesday I catch my many flights...
It's all happening very fast. I'm excited, nervous, etc.
